Restoring paintings are not easy, especially if they’re from the 18th century!

But Zsuzsanna Korhecz-Papp, art conservator and historian of the Subotica City Museum was working hard to restore the altarpieces of Ferenc Falkoner, a Hungarian baroque painter of Scottish origin, for a fantastic exhibiton about Falkoner's work for their museum. Though the exhibition there is over, don’t worry, the paintings will also come to Türr István Museum in Baja, Hungary since the exhibition is part of our cross border project co-financed by the EU Interreg-IPA Programme.
